The grand canal of Venice (Blue Venice) by Édouard Manet
Oil on canvas reproduction of “The grand canal of Venice (Blue Venice)”, a work painted by Manet in 1875. Manet was fascinated by the light of Venice, and this year he produced two works with gondolas and almost identical titles.
The work is housed in the “Shelburne Museum” in Vermont (USA) and measures 58.7 x 71.5 cm.
