Pathway in Monet’s Garden at Giverny
“Pathway in Monet’s Garden at Giverny” is an oil on canvas by Monet.
It represents the road to Monet’s house in Giverny, Normandy, where Monet moved in 1883 and lived and worked until his death in 1926.
Monet hired gardeners to create one of the most beautiful gardens ever seen, and it is not that he was interested in botany, what really interested him was to study the color and light of the different species of flowers he brought from many places including Japan.
In these gardens he created much of his work and “Way in Monet’s Garden in Giverny” is one of them.
